The Democrats are 80% responsible for the current economic meltdown,through media hysteria, marxist polices, and general viciousness.

The Republicans are 20%, through the wimpiness of Bush and the gutlessness of the Republicans in congress, the Democrats have been able to run roughshod over the Free Market ideals that made this country the greatest economic power in the world. Here is a good article explaining why.
